P1 Pro: Detailed Thoughts

I ordered the P1 Pro Body Composition Analyzer for my gym. The ordering process online was straightforward, and I received an email confirmation right away. Shipping was 7 days to Seattle, which was within their stated timeframe. Setting it up was easy enough with the included instructions. I had a small question about the cloud data management, so I called customer service. The representative was knowledgeable and helped me clarify how to generate client progress reports effectively. The analyzer's readings are consistent, and my clients appreciate the detailed breakdown. The thermal printer for the analyzer works well, though the paper refills seem a bit proprietary. It's a solid piece of equipment, and the accuracy seems comparable to more expensive units I've used.

Good scale, app needs work

I purchased the P1 Body Composition Scale a few weeks ago. The scale itself seems quite accurate and the build quality is solid. It connected to the app without too much hassle. My main gripe is the mobile app; it's a bit clunky and sometimes slow to sync the data. Delivery took about 6 days, which was reasonable. Overall, it's a decent product for the price, but the software could be smoother.

Absolutely love my new scale!

I got the P1 Body Composition Scale and it's fantastic! I've been tracking my progress for a month now and the data is so easy to understand. It really motivates me to stay on track. The app works great on my phone, and it arrived super fast, like 4 days after I ordered! I'm telling all my workout buddies about it. Definitely buying from Bodypedia again!

Good value on sale

I was looking for a professional body fat scale and saw the P1 Pro on a seasonal equipment promotion. I got $150 off, which made it a much better deal than some competitors. It arrived in about a week. The unit works well, and for what I paid, it feels like a good investment for my practice.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how long shipping usually takes for the P1 Pro? I'm in Miami and hoping to get it before my next client intake.

A Adam Sanchez 1 month ago
Mine got to me in Orlando in about 5 days, seemed pretty quick for a larger item.

Yeah, I think standard shipping is usually a week or so within the US. Miami shouldn't be much different.

What's the return policy like if I get the P1 and it's not what I expected? Easy or a pain?

A Ashley 3 days ago
I returned a different accessory once, and it was pretty straightforward. Just follow their instructions on the website.

I've never had to return anything, but I think they have a standard window, maybe 30 days? Check their site for the exact policy.

Does Bodypedia do a Black Friday sale? I'm thinking of getting the P1 Pro but could wait a bit if there's a good deal coming.

They definitely have Black Friday sales! I got my P1 Body Composition Scale during one last year, saved a good chunk of change.

Yeah, and Cyber Monday too, I believe. Might be worth holding off a few weeks if you're not in a rush.

How accurate are these compared to, say, a DEXA scan? I've heard some smart scales are way off.

L Linda Wright 3 days ago
The P1 Pro is supposed to be super accurate, really close to DEXA. It uses multi-frequency BIA which is better than basic scales.

S Stephanie Walker 2 days ago
I've cross-referenced my P1 Pro results with a DEXA and they were surprisingly consistent. Not 100% identical, but very good for a non-DEXA machine.

Anyone compare the P1 Pro to an InBody unit? Is Bodypedia just as good or what?

A Amanda Mitchell 1 week ago
I've used both and honestly, the P1 Pro holds its own. Very similar tech and results, maybe even a bit more user-friendly for clients.

InBody is the big name, but Bodypedia uses similar multi-frequency tech. For the price point, Bodypedia is a strong contender, IMO.
